About the camp
Our boot camp or half day program is an instruction based program geared for the beginner. The juniors receive instruction, play the nine hole pitching course and participate in games earning points for their teams. The professional score sheets, certificates, and folders provided to each child makes Webster Golf Camp a top notch program.
The continuing popularity of the program is due to the ongoing efforts to have fun while learning and practicing new golf skills. Participants are grouped according to ages and skill levels, with a 10:1 student to instructor ratio. All our golf professionals are PGA certified, with a combined 27 years of teaching experience.
Through the course of the camp, golfers are exposed to the fundamental mechanics of all phases of the game which include full swing, pitching, chipping and putting. Various methods are used to teach: drills, games, as well as contests which focus on proper technique.
Golf is more than just hitting the ball and keeping a score. A true golfer respects the game, the other players, and the golf course. Webster Golf Camp emphasizes sportsmanship, fairness, honesty, rules and etiquette, and humility.
Even though at times golf can be demanding and frustrating, many junior golfers return to our program year after year; fun remains an important and rewarding part of the game.
